Organizing With Twins: The Playroom

| January 16, 2012 | 0 Comments

Hello, Monday! Today we’re tackling the playroom in our “Organizing With Twins” series — for most moms, an ever-evolving dark hole of crayons, paper and toys that talk. But, no more! These finds are all equipped to shed clutter and keep the playroom looking fabulous. There’s no reason why the functionality of a room needs to trump design, right?

Built-In’s and Separate Spaces

These few examples depict a common trend: built-in’s and multiple spaces. The built-in shelving is a storage must-have and organization by function is a simple way to keep items in their place. Note: space for books, play, learning, lounging — it’s all here. And a window seat never hurts! It’s the perfect spot for mom or dad to join in on the fun.

Boxes and Baskets

Containers are also a big part of keeping a playroom organized (and our minds sane!). Whether a basket, plastic bucket, wire hanger or simple drawers, any container with a label will do. Here are some great ones, including one from one of our favorite local stores, Magic Beans!
