Organizing With Twins: The Bathroom

| January 13, 2012 | 0 Comments

Next up in our “Organizing With Twins” series is the bathroom. There are numerous ideas out there for bathroom decor and organizing, especially when you have double the stuff to put in its place! Creating a child’s bath with functionality can be a lot of fun and many of the organizational tips follow that of de-cluttering the bedroom: get it off the floor, and put it away. Because the bathroom is such a big part of your daily routine with your twins, it’s important to know where things are and why they’re there. We’re talking towels, toys, shampoo, medicine, you name it. No matter the size of your bathroom, there are tools for everyone and (almost) everything.

These next three designs all offer storage that’s either out in the open, or hidden. The first is just a great example of how to keep things where you can see them, but in a clean, organized way. Note the cubbies (color-coded for a kid’s look!), and everything is easily accessible.

This image is a great example of why cabinet space is c.r.u.c.i.a.l. It’s within reach of the little ones and is perfect for twinnies – double sinks!

If you look closely, you’ll be able to tell why we love this idea: built-in storage in the bath. It doesn’t detract at all from the other space in the bathroom. Yes, please!

These next choices are useful carriers for all that baby swag. From organized, labeled baskets, to a floor to ceiling mesh holder.
